Guidecraft Texo

The members of our Guidecraft Educator group were sent a new kind of construction and engineering set called Texo. Below are a few highlights of my students exploring the Texo building set and how you can enter to try and win a set of your own…

Texo by Guidecraft: A review and give-away from the Guidecraft Educator Group

The Texo set is made of a sturdy plastic material. Each piece fits firmly together so children can create a variety of different designs and not worry about their designs falling apart…

The types of designs my students made at first were very simple…

Texo isn’t a do-it-one-time type of toy and your done with it. As the children use it over time, they become more familiar with the different ways the pieces can fit together but it takes repeated use and possibly even some modeling of what the potential uses are for the different pieces…

Texo by Guidecraft: A review and give-away from the Guidecraft Educator Group

My students pretty much only used the plastic end pieces and the tubular sticks so far so we will continue to keep our Texo pieces out for the children to explore over time and learn what else they can construct…

I would like the 100 piece set

I would like the 100 piece Texo set. I work for a non-profit organization and manipulatives are hard to come by. I teach a 3 year old class of 19 and they enjoy building. This would be a perfect tool for their exploration! Thank you.
