This month, our Guidecraft Educator Group is giving away this wonderful set of six sorting food trays…

Each tray includes pieces that represent a different meal or a different culture. The trays our Guidecraft group is giving away today include the Breakfast Food Sorting Tray, the Lunch Sorting Food Tray, the Dinner Sorting Tray, the Italian Food Sorting Tray, the Mexican Food Sorting Tray, and the Japanese Food Sorting Tray. Each tray runs $20.oo each.

Each time my students sit down together to play with one of the trays, they begin a little dramatic play. The children like to serve each other and pretend to eat a meal…

The sorting trays are large and very sturdy. The wood pieces are easy for small hands to manipulate and the trays make great conversation tools for healthy eating and different types of food we eat at school or at home…

Hmmm. As an early interventionist it’s hard to choose! I like the peekaboo lock boxes. Several of their puzzles are very nice as well.

We would love to get the desk to easel art cart. That would be perfect for 2 kids at once! The table gets crowded with 6 kids! All their products are great…I would take 1 of each
I don’t know which item I would like the most they are all wonderful! They all help with hands on and getting the kids out to play. But if I had to choose it would either be the tactile blocks or the tactile dominos! (I work with autistic children) What great toys!
Love the market loft! There are so many different ways my kiddos could use it for dramatic play.
So many products look amazing. The Magneatos Jumbo – Mstr Bldr Set – 148 Pcs would be a great addition to our classroom. It was actually tough to pick just one, so many wonderful products. If I had to pick one, it would be those amazing Story Boxes, especially “The Girl Who Loved Danger”. These are great, and would travel well too! Thank you!
I want everything from Guidecraft! Certainly the story boxes like ‘The Girl Who Loved Danger’, the Block Mates, and anything from dramatic play!
i would love to have the Wall Mounted Barn Lock Box for my daycare

Lovely give away too, would love to win!
There are so many wonderful Guidecraft items to choose from ! Of course, the food sorting trays are incredible, as well as the Color Bright Dramatic Play Center. But I think my most favorite item is the Dress Up Carousel. This is my first year in Transitional Kindergarten, and I haven’t done a dress up area, as I have no way to organize it. The Dress Up Carousel would be perfect !
I just love the new dramatic play center. I can just imagine everything that the kiddos would do with that. I also like all of the rainbow items that would work great with a light box. They have awesome products!!

Kitchen Helper white large step stool. Always have little ones wanting to help but can’t put them all up on the counter and safetly have several to help prepare meals, measure, mix, stir, etc. Handy Dandy Helper used for SO MANY different things that little ones are not quite tall enough to see, reach, and help out with. Even can be used to practice large moto for walking up/down stairs and peek-a-boo with the large sides with 2 friends looking from behind.
I would love the Interlox set from Guidecraft! I think it would be great to add to the new light table we are getting.
Wow, what a huge selection…what to choose, what to choose. My class recently was donated a light table through the donorschoose.org website, so I would love to get my hands on some junior rainbow blocks for us to use with our now light table. Thanks for provided the awesome giveaways!
I would LOVE some of their furniture and bookshelves!
I love the kitchen helper!
Guidecraft has so many beautiful materials that it is hard to choose among them! I was drawn to the “Manipulatives” and especially the THREAD HEADS FAMILY of interchangeable screw-on blocks allow children to change the look of each family member. The children in my Developmental Preschool would love to play with them! Great Giveaway opportunity, Deborah!
I am in love with their products and have been wanting the construction truck sort and match for my son for homeschool! We currently have their table and chair set with paper roll and it has been an awesome piece of furniture!
I love the sorting food trays and the nest and stack cubes and cylinders!
Wow! What a great site. I saw several things I liked, including these puzzles. The language and interaction they would create would be great. My other top choice would be the Steve Light Storytelling sets. they are awesome and bring another facet to retelling and dramatizing stories, which is the way my students love them best!
Well…I would like one of everything from Guidecraft:) Pretty Please! The Tactile Turn and Match would be the one I select as my favorite. It is unique and teaches matching in a way that would be fun and interesting for all kiddos, but especially my child in my class that is blind.
I love the rainbow blocks. Mi have rainbow nesting blocks in my classroom and love them

It would be wonderful to win the six sorting food trays. Lots to talk about with the trays , a good way to bring attention to international foods. What a lovely set!
Guidecraft has so many fine educational toys, I know my class would love the Jr. Rainbow Block Set and the Balance Base would be an excellent addition to our gross motor activities. Thanks for entering me in the Guidecraft giveaway!
Ooo, these trays would be so much fun for preschoolers! I would love to have the Magneatos construction toys. Building toys are very popular at our preschool!
oh these new food sorting trays are absolutely delightful. I just got done going through the Guidecraft web site and looked at all the wonderful toys, and activities they have there. I need more money. There are so many things there that I would love to have…Eventually will have…
My picks from the web site were:
The story telling boxes. I love doing story telling the old way. No books, but just sitting down and telling the kids a story. The kids like to act out and repeat the stories. These little story boxes are great. With the
hand painted figures to go with the stories, and other props. I would gladly buy all 4 of these stories starting with the girl who loved danger. I’m a huge advocate for multi cultural things in the classroom. Although I am home child care, we have a wide variety of multicultural books. The dramatic play area has some multicultural foods, and our dress up area is mostly multicultural. The clothes we have for the kids ae real not costumes. I go on searches through thrift stores and yard sales to find these items. My community is very diverse and I find some of the most wonderful things.
These food trays would enhance our program a lot because they are multicultural foods plus they would be easy to play with and interact with.
Since we have a small yard it’s a challenge for gross motor skill items. I saw the balancing beam that I could easily incorporate into our yard and the multi match sensory disc. We already have the marble maze balance base and the kids love it and it’s used daily. One of the things that I like about these items through Guidecraft is that they are mostly wooden. Another big thing for me is providing the kids with natural wood toys. A few years ago my big excitement was to finally replace the plastic dramatic play area stuff with all wood items, for the kitchen stove, sink, frig and etc. We bought a huge set very sturdy. Wood last a long time, looks nicer, and the kids seem to enjoy it a lot more.
A couple of years ago I got rid of the small magnetic sticks and balls. The kids enjoyed them but there was a big scare of the kids swallowing the small magnetic pieces, balls, and etc. and causing great harm. So imagine my surprise to see the jumbo magneatos in the construction toy section. I don’t think they could swallow those!!!
This is a great store Deborah, thank you for sharing it. I signed up for a catalog. And whoever wins the food trays is in for a great activity to add to their program. Of course I hope it’s me…lol…
And thank you for all the wonderful activities you send daily…I turn around and share them again with my provider group here locally.

Can i say EVERYTHING? Ill narrow it down to sand tray w/ accessories and a 6 lb bag of wood pieces!
We would love to have the step-up kitchen helper!! My young kids and I bake and cook together all the time – it is something we can all do together and I believe it teaches them so much! The step-up helper would sure make it easier to have them standing with me at the counter- those wobbly kitchen chairs make me nervous!!
The Block Mates dinosaurs would be a great addition to our Dinosaur Day. Dinosaur Day was a huge hit and my grandson keeps wondering when it will be Dinosaur Day again.
I also love the Color-Bright Dramatic Play Center – it reminds me of when I would take my children to the Children’s Museum when they were young and how they loved to play grocery store.
I would love the rainbow blocks! My son loves to build stuff. These trays are awesome too.
I love the play kitchen. I’ve been wanting to make one for my boys for a while, but can’t find the right cabinet to upcycle. Their play kitchen would be perfect!
The storytelling kits look amazing. My daughter would love the Rapunzle kit.
I would love to have the rainbow blocks – good for construction play and light table!!! I also like the magneatos blocks.
There’s so much great ressources, thanks for sharing it!
I love their modern kitchen, and of course the food sorting trays.
They have so many fun things its hard to pick, but I would love the dramatic play center for my preschool.
The Color Bright Dramatic Play Center and Kitchen pieces would be nice additions to our HouseKeeping Center. We need to update
Thanks for having these give aways….. I would love to have the sorting food trays too.
the size progression puzzles and the one to four sorter were the two that immediately caught my eye. Although I really like the food sorting trays, another way to add cultural diversity to the classroom.
my 4 yr old daughter goes to a montessori school and i love the idea of things like the fraction cups; i’m also in love with the Block Mates Dinosaurs for my 1 year old son – tooo cute! would love to have the sorting trays too as i think they’d love to play together with them as they love helping us cook now. Thanks for doing this giveaway!!!

I’ve always wanted one of those kitchen helpers. My daughter loves to help me cook and they seem much safer than just using a regular step stool.
I would love to have their Deluxe Art Center for my daughter. It’s like a one-stop art desk with room to store everything and anything. The magnetos look great fun too!!
Ooh, I love the Color-Bright Dramatic Play Center that is set up like a shop – what a fun way to encourage “market” dramatic play. Of course, I would be thrilled with these sorting food trays, too.
I just love & really want to have the Guidecraft size progresson puzzles ,3 set. My toddler would benefit greatly all while learning through fun for future match concepts. -April
Love the All In One Modern Kitchen. My children love cooking by creating cooking shows, picnics, desserts for birthdays and more dramatic play.
I love the story boxes, especially hansel and gretel! Of course it is not available!
I adore these sorting trays! What a inspiring way to teach daily skills & vocabulary, manners, and cute visuals. My preschooler loves to play with food toys & set the dinning table. These would make it less a chore & emphasize on the fun. It may even make wanting to try new foods like eggs happen lol
These trays teach manyskills & interest like vocabulary, sensory, matching,& life hands on skills. These could be a great add on tool/toy for extending themes too.
I would love the tactlie turn and match activity.
I’ve been coveting the kitchen helper for a while – it would be the most wonderful safe addition to the constant cooking activities we do together, and much safer than the current step ladder we use.
I have two little boys so of course the Plywood Trucks would definitely be a win with them! Especially the Fire truck.
Magnetneatos look like fun!
Thanks
The ‘Magneatos Jumbo – Mstr Bldr Set – 148 Pcs’ would be amazing for the kids in my home day care!
I would love the all in one play kitchen for the Public Library where I work. It would be an enriching item for our children’s area. Thanks!
My kids would love the Magentos. they love building with anything and those would be a GREAt addition to our toys!
The audio center table would be fantastic! Language Arts is my thing and early reading skills can really be enhanced by audio books. I love the organization of this audio center!
: ) Diane
I would love their storytelling kits! I love exposing children to fairy tales so the Hansel and Gretel and Repunzel ones would be awesome to have. I’d put them in my manipulative buckets so my students could pretend and retell the stories at table time!
Hi Deborah,
We’d like to enter the drawing for the six food sorting trays, please.
I also love the dramatic play center on the Guidecraft website where the children can pretend to run their own market.
One of the things we are working on with our children with prenatal alcohol exposure is make-believe play as a way to practice understanding how other people might feel and think and how to read social cues in different settings. Both the food trays and the dramatic play center would be extremely beneficial to our children.
Thank you for sharing this company with us!
I would love to have the guidecraft block mates dinosaurs and trucks! I just think my very active preschool class comprised of mostly boys would love to have these to use in the block area. I see hours of interesting imaginary play stemming from these blocks!
I would love to have the dinosaur block mates. My preschoolers would absolutely love creating their own dinosaurs using the blocks. I can see them building towers and then having the dinosaurs knock them down!
The sorting trays would be a lovely addition to any program. We’d love a set of rainbow blocks.
I find that they are always on our wish list but always get pushed to the end because they are not necessary at the time. That’s the way it goes I guess!
The Magneatos would be great. They are large enough to build so great structures and no worry about children swallowing them.
I would love to have the food sorting puzzles for my class next year. They are wonderful!
I will love to have an All In One Play Kitchen from Guidecraft because I am building my dramatic area in my family childcare.
I need a kitchen.
I would love to win the food trays. They look amazing.
I love Guidecraft! Right now, one of their kitchens would be amazing for my children and their friends. They love play cooking with pots and pans and those cute kitchens would take it to the next level. Thanks for posting about the food trays. They look like so much fun!
I visited guidecraft’s website and loved looking at all the stuff they have. I really would like to have the sand trays, blocks in the storage shelf and a couple of the story telling boxes. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I would love the step up kitchen helper for my little ones
The puzzles are really cute and I know my students would love them. I also LOVE all the art desks and the Market play center. Some really cute things!
I would love to get the hideaway kitchen for my kids. We don’t have a lot of room, but this would be perfect for playing with and then storing when needed. Love those food sorter trays as well!
Oh, these look like fun. I really like the Marketloft also.
I loved that it was easy to find things. I loved how it had so many different things there were.
Wow they have some pretty neat stuff. The puppet theatre and the dramatic play center look like so much fun – my preschoolers would love them. I am always making things for them (like stores, or little houses) from cardboard boxes that they love, but they don’t last too long.
I think the block mate dinosaurs are an amazing idea! The kids in my class would play with those over and over again. The puzzles look like such fun too!
One thing? Only one? I think the Rainbow Blocks would be useful in more than just the Block Center. The Block Mates looked very interesting. I bet the guys in my class would love the Construct Set for their workbench. Picking one thing is HARD to do!
The deluxe art center is pretty awesome. Cubbies, bins, compartments…this is what I WISH our art supplies looked like! Love the products on this site and love this blog too! I get lots of inspiration from both!
What cute food tray! I stopped by their website and loved the Steve Light story box called Little One Inch. I may just have to get that for my son’s birthday coming up!
I love these puzzles!! They would make a great addition to our school! I teach the 7 continents, so having food from the different cultures would add to their learning experience!
I like the manipulatives, especially the fraction action board. For my classroom, I would be interested in the Interlox for our new light table. I also liked the balance base for gross motor.
I found lots of things I liked ont the Guidecraft website! Specifically, the blockmates vehicles and animals, the wooden shapes for art (might be fun in playdough) and the tactile games.
My kids would love these sorting food trays, they’re so cute. Another thing I would like to have here is the Block Mates Farm Animals. They love manipulating small items to create things.
Lots of choices. I love the Desk to Easel Art Cart. The kids can use them for many years to come.
I loved the Corner Book Nook on the Guidecraft website! I will be the new director/teacher of Clarion Christian Preschool in September. The current teacher is retiring after 20 years. The furniture and manipulatives could definately use some updating
. This bookshelf would be perfect for our small space.
I would love to have the dress up storage center in my room so the children could have dress up clothes accessible all the time and organized instead of in a bin.
The furniture that Guidecraft builds is wonderful. I would love to have the Desk to Easel Art Cart. I make sure to set up painting materials everyday for my kids as they just love it! This desk is just the right size and would certainly get a daily workout!
I really love and would love to have their Junior Rainbow Blocks. Thanks for the giveaway, these puzzles are so cool!

What a great giveaway Deborah! I am currently obsessed with the tactile turn n’ match. What a cool piece. ~ Marnie
Lots of good stuff on their site, but I would love these sorting trays!
Wow, I just love everything. I teach at a brand new church preschool that rents space at a garden club council. I would love to have some of the mirrored, colored, and water blocks for our children. I love the stepping stones, we take the children outside a lot. I love the fine looking furniture too, like the changing table, children’s table and chairs, kitchen helper, book racks, and those great puzzles! We need them all!
The storytelling boxes by Steve Light.
In addition to the food sorting trays, which look fantastic, I would also like to have the Magneatos Jumbo Master Builder set.
the food sorting puzzles would be wonderful in my class next year.
Not only would I love to win the food trays but I would also love to have the 40 piece Junior Rainbow blocks! Guidecraft is awesome!
I want and will get one of those kitchen helpers when my little guy is old enough. These food trays are just perfect for him now.
What a wonderful way to share lessons on healthy and worldly meals, sorting, and puzzle work!
I would love to buy a Dress-Up Storage Center. Wow! I would like to have everything!!! I’m a real kid in front of all those nice toys and furniture. My little ones would love to try the trays
ISabelle
I would absolutely LOVE to have the sensory stepping stones! Every year I have children with sensory issues and I am always looking for great items to help them! I hope we have end of the year money so I can purchase these!!
I would love to have the unit blocks. Simply because of the variety of shapes, These blocks would be great to teach not only math but problem solving skills as they figure out how to use the different shapes.
I had a fun time looking at the many toys and equipment. I teach pre-k and the Steve stories look pfect. So when the magic wand is waved that will be my wish. Thx

With such a wide range in ages toys must meet the needs of more than one age child.
