We have had some beautiful spring days and some of them were unseasonably warm. This was a perfect day to set out a little water tub play for my grandson…

I added a few rubber ducks to a small yellow tub filled with about an inch or more of water and my grandson played and played…

He did a little splashing..

And a little exploring…

And some floating…

And a little squeezing…

And a little reaching…

And a little dumping…

And a little grasping! So many different types of development going on while having fun playing in a water tub!

So cute:) I used to put a little water in my dishwasher door (opened) and let my little ones splash away. The dishwasher helps them stand when they aren’t stable yet.
Pretty cold. Where did you buy your yellow tub?
Great idea. My grandsons love their baths and since they live in Chicag0 (long winters!), my daughter puts them in the tub to play pretty often. Great pictures, Renee
Looks like fun!
Aw, such simple fun, and all from a bit of water, and a couple duckies.
How fun!! I miss the days of those chubby little baby hands!!
Aren’t they so sweet:)
