A Guidecraft super cool puzzle give-away just for you!

by Deborah J. Stewart, M.Ed. on September 2, 2011

in Give-Aways, Guidecraft Puzzles

Our team of Guidecraft Educators work together to share our reviews and host a give-away each month and today, we are sharing these amazing Guidecraft puzzles! I am the lucky one who will be hosting the give-away this month so after you read all the reviews from my Guidecraft Educator team mates, then come on back here and see how you can enter to win this entire set of super cool puzzles/manipulatives you see sitting on the bookshelf in my classroom (sorry, my big old dinosaurs are not included)…

I have had these puzzles sitting out on my shelf since preschool started and each day, at least one child decides to give them a go…

Sometimes the children play with them on the shelf…

Other times, the children take them to the table…

Each puzzle presents different kinds of learning such as color sorting, shape sorting, sorting by size and exploring fractions….

These puzzles are amazing in their quality. Well crafted, bright colors, strong, and chunky for small hands to hold and manipulate…

We play games with our puzzles too. For this game, we put each puzzle piece on a matching color mat…

Today, you can enter to win this entire set of 7 different kinds of puzzles!! See the instructions below to enter!

Lots of wonderful things at Guidecraft! I would love to see the Magneatos as a give away. We had them at the past preschool that I worked at and the children loved them. It would be a great way to introduce this fun product to a lucky winner. As for me – I hope that I would be that lucky winner. Thanks so much!

100 Christine September 2, 2011 at 8:52 am

Love @ first sight! I am a huge fan of puzzles, and these are outstanding! What is not to love? The Guidecraft puzzles are really well designed to support development of spacial awareness, fine motor skills, organizational skills and math concepts. I’m impressed. I really liked their website, and would love to see one of the block sets as a give away in the future. If I may, I would like to suggest that the company consider selling “Dressing Frames.” these are used in both pre-school and Montessori settings to teach children how to button, zip, etc… It seems that they would be a successful addition to their line.

101 Michelle R September 2, 2011 at 8:54 am

I would love the Interlox for my light table.

My favorite being the 2-sided book display (Item#G97026).

Thanks for offering such a great give away.

108 stephanie September 2, 2011 at 9:15 am

I think they should give away the twist and shout, or the stepping stones. I recognize alot of their puzzles from our local library. This site has alot of cool stuf.

109 Cathy September 2, 2011 at 9:15 am

If I could choose any item for them to give away, it would be those puzzles actually! What a great set! I work in a “makeshift” classroom with limited supplies. Puzzles are one of the things I would love to have available for my students and I know my students would enjoy these so much.

After these puzzles, the Deluxe Rainbow Blocks! I have had my eye on those for a while. The block center is always a favorite for kids and these blocks would be such a great addition to any classroom.

110 Cindy Lawson September 2, 2011 at 9:17 am

I’d like the Construct-It Early Builder Kit, but that’s just being modest. I’d take just about anything they offered, especially the big expensive stuff like shelving!

111 Missy September 2, 2011 at 9:18 am

Hi!!!!
Wow!!! They have an extensive website with so many great things!! It was hard to pick just one thing!! However, considering I have two boys of my own, and for the last few years it just so happens that my home daycare has had mostly boys in it (presently 5 boys and 1 girl), I was looking for something that they would use alot. They all love to build, and of course cars and trucks are always a favorite, so I chose the “Blockmates Construction Venicles”. How fun they look!! As I was browsing the site, my 3 year old was next to me, and when I clicked on all the different vehicles, he was shouting the names of them, and was so excited about them!!!

I absolutely LOVE the puzzle set as well, and I know how much use we would get out of those on my home daycare!!! Thanks for considering me :)

170 Denise September 2, 2011 at 12:35 pm

So many great things. The Magneatos look very cool. I wish they would consider them as a giveaway.

171 Sophie September 2, 2011 at 12:48 pm

I love the food and nutrition items that they have!

173 Lori Summers September 2, 2011 at 1:04 pm

174 Tiffany White September 2, 2011 at 1:10 pm

I love so many things from their site! I think I would choose the block mates block sets (especially the construction set) or the wooden construction trucks (can you tell I have boys?!). Thank you so much for the opportunity!

175 Cheryl September 2, 2011 at 1:14 pm

177 Lisa Clawson September 2, 2011 at 1:17 pm

I would love the construct-its. Anything in the construction section would be fabulous. I have a class full of little boys this year. Maybe that is why I would lean towards those. Everything looked fun though.

I would love to have these puzzles for my preschool program. We are grant funded and have a very low budget to get new materials. I can see these puzzles are well made and would be attractive to the children.
TheGuidecraft site is very unique in their priducts and seems to be reasonably priced. I especially liked theMadneatos as the possibilities of things children could create are endless. Thank you for sharing these wonderful products with us.
The Soup Opera is a wonderful book that you might enjoy reading.

190 Rachel September 2, 2011 at 3:19 pm

Oh. My. Goodness! I just spent WAY too much time browsing their website! What an amazing array of products! I think my favorite things are: BALANCE BEAM, DRIVE TIME SIGNS, SENSORY STEPPING STONES, MAGNEATOS, 4-SIDED LIBRARY (or SINGLE-SIDED BOOK BROWSER), and the adorable ROCKING CHAIRS (especially the Little Farm House, Transportation, Playoffs, or Butterfly). I would also LOVE to win the puzzles you are giving away (it’s my first year teaching preschool, plus I have 3 kids of my own–5yrs, 4yrs, and 2yrs, so I KNOW they would get tons of use!!) Thanks!

191 Nicole Cocca September 2, 2011 at 3:32 pm

I had never heard of Guidecraft before but was excited to explore their website to see what they offered. I would be happy if they gave away any of their food and nutrition manipulatives. 203 Kerri LeBlanc September 2, 2011 at 5:42 pm

I think that the Magneatos would be a great give-away, the only kind I’ve seen in stores where I live are the small ones, and I am too paranoid that a child might swallow one since the magnets are too small. The ones that I spied on the Guidecraft website are nice and big, perfect for preschoolers. The children in my four year old class would love those puzzles, I hope I am a winner!

204 Ryan September 2, 2011 at 5:50 pm

This was a great site! It was hard to pick just one thing that my class would love so I went with any of the rainbow blocks (including the sand, water, crystal or mirror blocks) My class loves to build and I know they would go over the moon for any of those :-)

205 Judy September 2, 2011 at 5:57 pm

206 Beth September 2, 2011 at 6:08 pm

I love reading all your posts, I’ve used so many ideas from here in my own preschool class. I love to see the the magneatos from Guidecraft as a giveaway. Too many of the magnetic toys are too small for my group (2-3 year olds) to use. These are perfect!!

207 Allison September 2, 2011 at 6:15 pm

Can they give away one of everything? That’d be fantastic! But seriously? I’d love to have the puppet theater! (And some puppets) Or the animals you slide onto the blocks. Or the lofts for the classroom. Or the… I can’t pick just one!

217 Kim Harp September 2, 2011 at 7:40 pm

I’d love to see a review of the stacking rainbow pyramid. It looks like you could do tons of stuff with them, but my creative juices are tapped on ideas. I’m starting a home daycare in the spring and would love a chance to include these puzzles.
Thank you for the opportunity and the wonderful ideas you share everyday!

218 Mary Fieber September 2, 2011 at 7:46 pm

I would LOVE to see a review of the Center Stage Puppet Theater. It is so great and has so many different uses. It doesnt look as if it would take up a huge amount of space in the classroom either and seems to be easy to store if you weren’t going to use it for awhile. I know my classroom would enjoy it. Tammie

Where to begin? They have such fantastic manipulatives but I know this year’s class would love the Magneatos or the animals they can slide onto blocks for the zoo they have been constructing. Everything on the website is wonderful so I can’t imagine being disappointed with anything they offered.

They certainly have a great selection of products. It would be wonderful if they decided to giveaway the KITCHEN HELPER. I think most moms with little ones would love their kids to help them in the kitchen safely.

The stacking bookshelves are awesome.

276 Debbie Rowland September 3, 2011 at 6:50 pm

This is my first exposure to Guidecraft and like the high quality of their products. Quality at a resonable price is hard to find today in toys. I would like to see them give away a set of Magneatos. Just started teaching at a school with “no extra funds” because it is trying to keep its tutition affordable for single mothers with children at risk. If I win these awesome puzzles I will share with all classes within the school. We are desparate for manipulatives. Hoping to win and share the blessing. Debbie
