I am so glad to read about this, I am making a commitment to dedicate one day to intentionally teaching stem. Sure I let children play on the IPads with learning games. I have realized that at really it is a passive activity much like tv. I want my kids to really interact with technology not just passive users. My goal is to increase the one day to everyday, this is the world they live in. I don’t know much about stem myself, but it does not matter. I want to teach more intellect and less academics. I had no idea where to even start, but I think your sight is a great start

You have the perfect mindset – to start with what you do know and dive in one day at a time:)

I am looking for programs that the children can use during technology time in the classroom. Do you have any favorites that we should be using. Thank you for your help. Diane
