The lines for our roads and parking lot were drawn with a white Chalk Paint Marker on our chalk table. The chalk paint doesn’t wipe off during play. To remove the chalk, you simply need a damp cloth which makes a chalk marker the perfect drawing tool for making games on our chalk board table…

And as the morning went by, the children added small people or animals from the block center to the table too…
Although the mission may have been to find their names, the children headed off in a variety of directions on these roads…
This was such a popular center that at times, there were more children than there was space to play. So some of the children went off and created their own track for play…
The children used black tape and the white chalk paint marker to add lines on the tape…
After a little problem solving and creativity, everyone had a track to play on!
