This class participated in making their own pond to display on the class bulletin!
The teacher rolled out a large sheet of bulletin board paper and set out some blue finger paint…
And the children used their fingers to spread the paint all around…
After the entire piece of paper was a pretty blue, the teacher sprinkled in a little glitter…
Some of the children enjoyed this little extra touch of glitter sensory and decide to explore the paint some more…
Now that the pond was all finished, we very carefully took it outside and hung it up to dry on the fence for few hours….
Once the paper was trimmed up, the teacher attached it to the bulletin board in the classroom. Â The teacher then added the children’s fish they had already made to make a fun little fish pond!
What I liked…
I loved that the children participated in creating the artwork that went on the bulletin board. This is a great example of creating an environment that really is child-centered and child-made!
