Kid- Friendly Water Faucet Tip! By Teach Preschool

To help my students know which handle next to the water faucet is hot and which is cold, I always keep a supply of red and green rubber bands around.  I wrap a green rubber band around the handle for cold water then explain to the children that “Green means Go because the water is Cold!”

In every bathroom that the children (or my grandchildren) have access to, the handles are wrapped the same…

Stay Healthy

  • According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other leading health organizations, proper hand hygiene is one of the most important preventative measures you can take to reduce your risk of illness and infection.
  • Scientific outcome studies provide evidence that hand hygiene, including the use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer like PURELL, reduces our risk of getting sick.
  • A recent study conducted by the makers of PURELL demonstrated that the use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer can significantly reduce the transfer of a virus to the hands, and prevent germ transfer via commonly touched surfaces in the household.

Have you joined the PURELL 30-DAY CHALLENGE yet?

My grandson and I joined in with this photo! The small, easy to carry bottles of PURELL has come in quite handy since he broke his arm.  We use just a small bit before and after play to help keep the germs away. Of course, as soon as he is allowed to get his hand all wet again, we will go back to making sure a good hand-washing routine with soap and water gets underway!

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
