Baby game : up, up, up and dowwwwwwn

Ziggy and I explored a new set of blocks I bought for the preschool. It turns out that these light weight musical rainbow blocks were very interesting to my little 9 month old grandson and perfect for playing the baby game:  “Up, up, up!” and “Dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwn!” over and over and over again…

My job was to stack the blocks up (with one hand and try to take photos with the other)….

And Ziggy’s job was to reach out and knock the blocks down….

My job was to say, “Up, up, up!” as I stacked the blocks on top of each other…

Ziggy loved our game and for as long as he stayed interested, we continued to play…

Ziggy concentrated on the blocks all throughout our game. Well except for a moment here and there…

After a little while, we changed the game to “In and Out”…

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
