Snowman sensory puzzle

I really didn’t know what to call this activity because it is a combination of snow, sensory play, fine motor play and it is kind of like a puzzle too so I decided on ‘snowman sensory puzzle’ to give all the different possibilities. I am still waiting for my school to get back in session and still hoping that we will have snow on the ground so while I wait, I continue to think of different ways we can explore the snow…

The snowman sensory puzzle can be done with or without the printable but I found that it does help to give the idea of making a snowman if you have the printable. However, knowing my students, some will just want to explore this process without the printable and others will enjoy building a snowman with the printable so I will let them choose…

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
