I just love this

Some days, as I go to write a new post or browse through the photos of my class, I say to myself –  “I just love this!”  I love writing my blog, I love pouring through all the photos, I love teaching my class, I love being creative, I love the feedback my readers give me, and I love the chance to share it all with you.

It isn’t always easy, but no really good thing comes without some bumps in the road.

But thank you for making my experience as a blogger as smooth as I could possibly ask for.

Thank you for being supportive and generous readers. Thank you for all you do for young children and for your part in the advancement of early childhood education.

Thank you for taking the time to share my blog with others.

And to my new assistant, Mrs. Courtney – thank you for all the behind the scenes work you do for our classroom and for Teach Preschool too!

And to all my parents, thank you for allowing me to teach your children and share their work with others. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.

Sincerely yours,

Deborah

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
