Guidecraft review and give-away: three amazing puzzles

by Deborah J. Stewart, M.Ed. on April 2, 2012

in Give-Aways, Guidecraft Puzzles

This month, our Guidecraft Educator Group is giving away three wooden puzzles. These are beautiful and high quality made puzzles for toddler age children. However, the puzzles didn’t make it into my classroom yet because my grandson has decided that these are his puzzles for now…

And of course, it is always more fun to play with any toy when you put it in a box! Sorry, the box does not come with the give-away…

There are a total of three puzzles that Guidecraft is giving away including the Hide ‘n Seek Shape Sorter, See Saw Sorter, and the Primary Puzzle Board

Although you can simply set these puzzles out to play, Kai and I really like playing with the puzzle pieces in unusual ways. Kai especially liked making the brightly colored wooden puzzle pieces scoot or roll back and forth in the big box…

As my friend, colleague, fellow grandmother, and author, Karen Nemeth from Language Castles states…

“I tell infant/toddler teachers and parents that you can give a baby almost anything (safe) and they might play with it

but if you put it in a container, it’s guaranteed to be more fascinating!”

And my grandson would agree – it is much more interesting when you get to play in a box…

Sometimes, Kai just liked to toss the puzzle pieces out of the box but no worries, these wooden pieces are made to last and can handle a little toddler type exploration…

To enter this give-away…

Hop on over to Huppie Mama and read her review and enter the give-away there! She has done a terrific job showing all the details of these beautiful Guidecraft puzzles!
