Introducing the Little Lectern from Guidecraft

This month our Guidecraft Educator Group is reviewing this interesting piece of furniture called the Little Lectern and if you would like to enter to win this fun piece of furniture for your home or classroom then hop on over to Simply Stacie to enter the Little Lectern Give-away.

I was able to put most of the Lectern together all by myself but needed my husband to help me put together the finishing pieces.  I haven’t set it out for my class to use yet.  I am looking forward to see how they incorporate this into their play. It will be quite an unusual addition to our classroom!

It comes with a little carpeted foot stool as well but I forgot to put the foot stool next to the lectern when I took the photos.

Learn more about the Little Lectern and check out all the other high quality educational equipment on the Guidecraft Website.  Then hop on over to Simply Stacie and enter to win the Little Lectern valued at $200.00!

I can just picture the dramatic play that this little addition to our classroom will promote!

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'

Ready for Kindergarten

Ready for Kindergarten offers simple to follow guidance and tips for where to focus your energy, how to support the learning that naturally takes place, and how to make the most of your child’s pre-kindergarten year.
