Winner of the National School Supply give-away and a kissing song!

Thank you all for participating in the National School Supply Give-Away. I enjoyed reading how much you care about your classrooms and want to give your students or children the very best in educational opportunities.

I am pleased to announce that the winner of this give-away is Amanda C. (Comment #62). Amanda said, “We are going to be doing animal habitats in just a couple of months! The Quick Life science lab kit would be awesome for that (plus several other activities through the year!). Thanks for the opportunity!”  Congratulations Amanda, you just got your request. I hope your class has a great experience as they explore animal habitats.

I will be sending Amanda an email and awaiting her reply. If I don’t hear from Amanda C. within 5 days, then I will draw an alternative winner.

If you didn’t win today, don’t go away feeling sad! Take a listen to one of my new songs from my new Children’s Music CD coming out by this spring. It is a great song to share with your students at the beginning of the school year and for those of you who read The Kissing Hand to your students, it goes along nicely with this book!

Thanks again for all you do in early childhood education!

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
