Do you ever take a break?

Someone asked me recently if I ever take a break. All I can say is, “it has been awhile” – so….

Can you believe it? I am going to take a few days off from writing any new blog posts so I can rest for just a few days before the start of the new year at preschool. I say that and then I find something new and exciting to share and just can’t wait to get back online and write another post. But really, I am going to try and take a few days off.

I will share ideas from some of my older posts and from other blogs over at Teach Preschool on Facebook but no new blog posts here for just a few days.

I will check and respond to comments regarding the postcard exchange since this is a time sensitive project.  And don’t worry, I will be working to get this organized for us as scheduled.

Thank you so much for your support of Teach Preschool – I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have the opportunity to share with you.

In the meantime, if you have a topic or something that you would like for me to write about over this next school year, leave me a comment below. Also – I would love to hear what your favorite post on Teach Preschool has been this year. I want to learn from you!

See you in a few days…

Every time I think I know everything I need to know about teaching young children, God says, "Hold on a minute!" and gives me a new challenge.

Let me tell ya...

With each new challenge that you overcome, you will find yourself better equipped and more passionate about teaching young children.

God didn't call wimps to lead, teach, or care for His children. Nope, he has high expectations, so get ready. You will have to give your very best but after teaching for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is a wonderful and rewarding journey.

Whenever your calling feels hard, just remember, 'He who began a good work in you (and in the children you serve) will be faithful to complete it.'
