How to clean up the preschool classroom

To keep your classroom clean, start by keeping a broom and dust pan by the sand table at all times…

And keep old towels near the water table at all times…

And be sure to have extra paper towels available for cleaning the tables…

And keep plenty of baskets handy for sorting and putting away the toys…

And plenty of trashcans nearby for throwing away the trash…

And then teach your kids how to be a helper and they can do it!

Another note, we have a “Swivel Sweeper” that is a little battery sweeper that works wonders. It is very light and and turns easy, the childern love to use this. You can find it on their web sight or a major department store.

I have been reading some of your entries so thank you from NZ for the inspiration.
We are pretty hands on to at Play and Learn in Auckland ,NZ.
Our trick is to always have art towels, red chux cloths that are onlt for art and only for spills of paint and mediums, children can learn so much from the value of respecting your place of creativity and how mistakes are an advantage to be taken for learning.

    I love your blog.
I’m rather new at blogging, and I noticed beneath every post you have, there’s a “You might also like: ” feature with three posts. Can you post a link to where I could do this with my blog, or just brief me in which direction I should take in order to do this to my own blog?
