The children have been exploring the four seasons throughout the week and today they painted trees…
The teacher had set out paper with a tree form already on it (the children probably could have drawn their own trees) and a variety of paint colors with paint brushes. This was one of many different activities the children were able to choose from today…
Each of the children chose their own unique approach to painting their trees. This little boy seemed to prefer painting the letters in his name over painting the tree…
He eventually decided to add a few more colors to his painting…
This little girl started by painting her tree trunk a deep brown. Then she went back over the brown with white paint. All the children seemed to be very interested in the white paint….
And then she added bright colors to each branch of the tree. Just as I thought she was done, she went over to get a crayon and began drawing a person under the tree. A wonderful piece of multi-media artwork!
I just love all the colors! Now this was a very inviting table!
