We play and then we put away in preschool

in The Value of Play

Part of play is working together to clean up….

First we play…

And when we are done, we work together…

To scoop up our toys…

And dump them in the basket…

And then we put it back up on the shelf…

Children who play together and work together are building the skills they need for success in life!

I think it is great to have kids clean up. My 2 year olds love it we sing a silly song and I really do not care if they drop them in a box or place them gently. One less thing for me to do ;)

You’re right of course – all our important life skills can be passed along through play. Thank you for linking with the Play Academy and sharing an idea – see you next Friday?
